Industrial Open House at Saint Paul College

The Welding Department of Saint Paul College would like to extend an open invitation to all AWS members and companies or businesses in the welding industry to our open house.
The event will bring together various aspects of the welding industry and allow individuals to become familiar with Saint Paul College and our mission to produce quality welders for the industry.

If your company has not received an invitation, we would greatly appreciate your participation in our event. You are welcome to set up a booth to demonstrate your company’s products/equipment. Please contact us so that we can provide you with enough space and access to electricity/ventilation.

AWS Northwest Section 31st Annual Golf Outing: June 14, 2010
Winter is almost over and most of us golfers are getting anxious to get out and play some rounds of golf. The annual AWS Northwest Section golf outing is right around the corner. It is time to get your foursomes together and get signed up and perhaps sponsor a hole this year.
This year we have moved this event to Sundance Golf Club in Maple Grove. Due to many requests to move this event closer to the Twin Cities, the AWS NW Section Executive Committee decided to make the move to Sundance. We want to thank New Prague Golf Club for the excellent hospitality, support, and services we received the past 14 years.
All the proceeds from this event go into the NW Section Scholarship Fund. Last year this event raised $2800.00, which was part of the $5000.00 we gave out to schools to be used for Welding Education.

We are again offering you a chance to sponsor a hole at the low rate of $100.00. If you wish to sponsor a hole, please make that a separate payment. A sign with your name or company name will be placed on the tee box. We do need 2 weeks’ notice for a sign to be made.
We will also have a raffle with the same great prizes we always have. Tickets will be $5.00 each or, 5 tickets for $20.00. Those of you who have brought door prizes in the past please continue to do so and anyone who hasn’t yet, now is a good time to start!
