Northwest Section Annual Golf Outing: Monday June 15, 2009 UPDATED AND BUMPED

Spring is in the air, it’s time once again to start getting your foursomes ready for the Annual Golf Outing. We are going to be back at the New Prague Golf Club again this year, let’s all hope for the same great weather we had last year! (Please note: soft spikes only please) Event cost is $95 per player (includes lunch and dinner), $30 Dinner & Lunch, $20 Dinner only.
As always, all proceed from this event go to the AWS NW Section Scholarship Fund. Last year $6300 was awarded to schools for welder training.
We are again offering the chance for hole sponsorship at the low rate of $100. If you wish to sponsor a hole, please make that a separate payment. A sign with your name or company name will be placed on the tee box (two weeks notice for signmaking.)
We will also have a raffle with the same great prizes we always have. Tickets will be $5 each or $20.00 for five tickets. Thise of you that brought door prizes in the past please continue to do so and anyone that hasn’t in the past, now is a good time to start!
There will be a tour of Chart Industries prior to the Golf Outing starting at 9am. The Chart/MVE plant located at 407 – 7th Street in New Prague, Minnesota is the MVE founding site and is in its 45th year of operation. At the company’s 240,000-square-foot plant in New Prague, workers manufacture bulk storage tanks, transport tanks and trailers, helium and hydrogen storage tanks, railcars, insulated pipe, nitrogen storage systems, and low temperature storage freezers for the artificial insemination market and the medical research industry. These products are used in many cryogenic applications.
